Getting Vertical in Xela.
We start with breakfast at 7:30am at the office in Casa Argentina. Then we catch a 20 min ride to the beautiful Almolonga Valley and hike up volcanic rock fields to a series of walls and some great sport routes ranging in difficulty from 5.08 - 5.13+. No worries - we have experienced guides to insure a fun and safe day of climbing. After climbing a pick up will drive us to the natural steam saunas of Los Vahos. After relaxing here a short and beautiful walk through the Xela trail will lead us back to town.This trip is available with a minimum of two clients, please contact us or stop by the office for more info.

Cost of Trip Q300.00

Our climbing day is offered midweek, on demand. We will consider requests for a weekend trip pending guide availability.

• Climbing Gear (climbing shoe sizes are limited)

What You Should Bring:
• Day backpack
• Rain Gear
• Sun Screen
• Bathing suit and towel
• Sneakers or comfortable hiking shoes

Any of the above items that you do not have we will do our best to provide.

* With all trips, please sign up two days before your desired trip, at the latest. Space is always limited to first comers.

**Quetzaltrekkers purchases the food provided on trips from local Guatemalan vendors and co-ops when possible.
