Summary

Xela is often overlooked by travelers, but it has a fascinating history and a lively, welcoming core that we love to share.

Join us as we take you through some of our favorite sites in the center, offering a unique perspective on the city’s rich culture, local life, and stories that bring this place to life. This is a great way to experience the city beyond the usual tourist sites, with insights from those who live and work here.

And the best part? You’re helping a good cause along the way. Quetzaltrekkers is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization that raises funds for Edelac, supporting education for vulnerable children in Xela. While the tour is free, any voluntary donation you make goes 100% towards these community projects.
